Associate Professor Taj Saghaie is a Respiratory Physician and interventional pulmonologist in Sydney Australia. His interests cover a wide range of advanced pleural and bronchoscopic procedures including rigid bronchoscopy, management of large airway obstruction, diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy, comprehensive management of pleural conditions and multidisciplinary care of lung cancer. A/Prof Saghaie graduated from Tehran University, Iran in 2003 and trained as a physician in Australia. He has pursued his passion for interventional pulmonology by travelling and training in centres of excellence in the USA and Europe. He has been co-running Interventional Pulmonology services at Macquarie University and Concord Hospitals Since 2014.
