I am a Professor of Medicine at The Ohio State University where I serve as the Director of Interventional Pulmonology and the Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship Program Director. My academic interests have included technology assessment for procedures related to bronchoscopy, sedation for bronchoscopy, and research related to teaching pulmonary procedures. I have published research related to procedural training in bronchoscopy and airway management. As a member of Chest, I served as Chair of the Bronchoscopy Domain Taskforce and am now Chair of the Live Learning Committee. I have authored book chapters on lung cancer in the recent editions of the Murray and Nadel and Fishman textbooks of respiratory medicine.
