Ashutosh Sachdeva is the Chief, Section of Interventional Pulmonology and Director of fellowship program in Interventional Pulmonology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Sachdeva’s research focuses on role of endobronchial valves for bronchoscopic lung volume reduction, cryotherapy in central airway obstruction, pulmonary toxicity due to radiation and chemotherapy, optimization of tissue sampling in patients with thoracic malignancy, as well as role of minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in patients with advanced lung diseases. Dr. Sachdeva has many publications in peer reviewed journals as well as book chapters in the field of Interventional Pulmonology. He is recognized both nationally and internationally for his contributions in medical education and to the field of Interventional Pulmonology.
