Udit ChaddhaMount Sinai

    Dr. Chaddha is the Associate Director of Interventional Pulmonology, and the Director of the Respiratory Institute Pleural Service at Mount Sinai. He is a board-certified interventional pulmonologist who completed his training at the University of Chicago. He specializes in airway procedures including ablative techniques (including laser, APC, cautery, cryotherapy and photodynamic therapy) and stents, diagnostic and navigational bronchoscopy including robotic bronchoscopy, bronchoscopic lung volume reduction, bronchial thermoplasty, endobronchial ultrasound, indwelling pleural catheter placement and thoracoscopy for pleural biopsies and pleurodesis. His primary research interest includes pleural diseases. He has also published several articles on a variety of topics in interventional pulmonology including central airway disease, ablative techniques, endobronchial ultrasound, and robotic bronchoscopy. His work has been presented at national meetings and published in esteemed peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Chaddha is a member of the American Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology and is actively involved in peer education through the same. Dr. Chaddha was born and raised in Mumbai, India and moved to the US for his medical training. He now lives in New York City and enjoys his free time traveling and playing golf.
