Lynn TanoueYale School of Medicine

    Dr. Tanoue is Professor and Vice-Chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. She received her BA from Harvard, MD from Yale School of Medicine, and MBA from Yale School of Management, and completed training in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Tanoue is a founding member of the Yale Cancer Center Thoracic Oncology Program and Director of the Yale Lung Cancer Screening and Nodule Program. She is immediate past-chair of the ATS Thoracic Oncology Assembly and has been active in the thoracic oncology network and lung cancer guidelines writing committee for CHEST. Dr. Tanoue is current chair of the American Board of Internal Medicine Pulmonary Board and past chair of the ABIM Pulmonary Examination Committee. She is an active supporter of the arts in medicine, and founded the Yale Medical Symphony, in which she plays violin.
